Shopping at the farmers’ market was not easy for me; not at first, and it did not feel natural. It was a very different shopping experience then I was used to. I was used to walking down sterile aisles with too many options of too many processed foods, and next to no interaction with another human being besides offering my answer to “Paper or plastic?”
A celebratory event happened across our nation this past weekend! And it is offering us the perfect opportunity to completely change the way we think about food. It is time we stop thinking about food as science. It’s time for food to become less scary. Less daunting. Less guilt-ridden. Less confusing. It’s time for it to become beautiful again!
